What's The Format?

We're Oldies with Lots of Jingles; however, it's what is between the records that really counts.... At FULL SERVICE WLNG, it's mostly very, very local news, local weather and local information.

In 1963, we were one of the first stations (maybe the very first?) to carefully mix Current Hits with Oldies. In the trades we've been referred to as "probably the original time capsule."

For Remotes and News Gathering, we added this to our little fleet.

During hurricanes and storms, ask any local "Bonacker" out on Eastern Long Island and he'll tell you nobody is more relied upon than WLNG.

One of the reasons for this is the fact that we were one of first radio stations anywhere to bring Doppler in house, backing it up with emergency generators at our studios in Sag Harbor as well as at our transmitter site in Southampton.
