The Originals With Lee Skolnick

Lee H. Skolnick has been a passionate musician since age 10, playing in numerous bands and solo venues over the years. He is an accomplished guitarist, piano player, and songwriter. Lee is also the founding Principal of SKOLNICK Architecture + Design Partnership, an internationally renowned design studio that integrates architecture, exhibition design, and education. He has lived in Sag Harbor since 1978 and has designed numerous residences on the East End, as well as projects for many local cultural organizations including The Church, The East Hampton Library, The Children’s Museum of the East End, Guild Hall, and many East End historical societies. In addition to bringing his philosophy-based interpretive design and planning services to a broad range of cultural, institutional, corporate, and private clients, Mr. Skolnick writes, lectures, and teaches extensively. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Long Island AIA, is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Museum Studies Programme at the University of Leicester, and is co- author of the book, “What is Exhibition Design?”.
