Bill Thomas billt@wlng.com Overnight Sunday: Midnight - 6:00 AM Bill was born in Amityville, Long Island in the mid '60's and has lived in the same house all his life. Bill has been interested in music and recording since he was a youngster and his mother had said that the record player was his favorite toy. Bill has a very good knowledge of music (artists, songs and labels). He has a vast record collection of 45's along with albums and CD's. Bill has also been interested in radio from a young age. He has worked at WLNG on and off part time doing overnights in the late '80's and during the '90's. He has been hosting the Nightwatch Monday mornings from Midnight to 5:30 AM since March of 2003. He has a studio console set up at home which he uses to listen to music and prepare portions of his Nightwatch show. Even with CD's and digital music being the norm, Bill still loves to sit in front of his studio and spin records. Bill is currently employed with the Amityville School District and has been with them for over 24 years. Bill also enjoys using computers to surf the internet and being creative with music files and such. Bill also enjoys dabbling in electronics (setting up computers, etc.). |
